Lydney 1st XV will make the short trip to local rivals Newent RFC this Saturday as the Severnsiders will look to make it 3 wins in a row and win back to back away games. Lydney currently in 4th place and only 2 points behind St Austell in 2nd place who play top of the table Chew Valley this weekend, A win for Lydney could potentially move themselves up the table into the promotion spot. However as many sides have found out this season, going to Newent and getting a win on the slope is a tough task, The Severnsiders will have to be in top form once again to get the points.
