Lydney RFC – First Aid Course
We are looking for some volunteers to attend a one day First Aid course. The objective is basically to have more people trained with some First Aid knowledge to be able to help if we have an incident at the Club or in the Clubhouse. Just having people with some basic knowledge can really help and in a serious situation could even be lifesaving while we await professionals to arrive etc.
The course is just one day, with 6 hours tuition (09.30 to 15.30) given by the Trainer Dave Beddis at the Clubhouse. We will be operating the course under social distancing and to the current Government and RFU guidelines. Dependant upon Volunteers availability we will either run the course on a midweek day or a Saturday.
Please try and help, we are appealing to everyone, just giving 6 hours of your time could make a massive difference, let’s try and keep our Club safe for all. Our objective is to get around 8 – 10 volunteers trained up.
